Coyne recruitment work with leading and innovative training providers across FE and one of our clients is embarking on a period of growth. We are currently looking to support one of our leading clients who are currently expanding their team in recruiting for an Training Coordinator. Purpose of the role: Focused on learner recruitment for our Sector Based Work Academies. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of unemployed provision and employer / learner engagement experience. Skills programme delivery knowledge would be advantageous Key Responsibilities: Attend supply chain/ partner /local office (s) team meetings as required to promote Classroom based / Skills programmes Responsibility for the engagement of learners, selling the benefits of Classroom based / Skills programmes To promote the Classroom based /Skills programmes to learners Ensure a minimum cohort of 12-15 learners per course, by driving referrals Responsible for calling FTAs/DNAs Responsibility for managing courses / delivery in the absence of the Learning Mentor / Branch Manager Work with the ERM / Branch Manager to promote the Classroom / Skills programmes to local employers / partners / internal and external Build and maintain good working relationships with referral partner key contacts and where required to confirm enrolment and induction time date and venue Ensuring that there are the required numbers of courses per region per contract in line with the local business plan Contact learners on Skills programmes on a weekly basis to ensure that they are receiving the required information, advice and guidance throughout the programme delivery Ensuring the achievement of % job outcomes / progressions per region are met in line with the local business plan Ensure timely MI is passed to ERM / Branch Manager as required Identifying the learning needs of individual learners through robust initial assessment and signposting learners accordingly achieving a 95% retention rate Completion of all stipulated enrolment and course completion documentation meets funding eligibility and audit compliance criteria in a timely manner and ensuring that this is passed onto the relevant staff member / tutor Undertake enrolment sessions and eligibility checks Provide learners with initial advice and guidance about the course content, assessment criteria and confirm course start and end dates Accurate completion and submission of all documentation, records of attendance / absence forms to admin support staff Completion of any applicable travel expenses forms and promptly returns to admin staff Liaison with relevant ERM/Branch Manager / Staff member any issues / queries or opportunities which may arise from the enrolment / induction Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all learners, celebrating diversity and ensuring the implementation of equal opportunities Collaboratively manage the behaviour of the learners, promoting and maintaining a safe and secure learning environment
