Support Engineer About the role We re looking for a technical-savvy professional who is keen to join a fast-growing company. Full training will be given to the successful candidate, but we are looking for a professional who has experience in a technical role and can troubleshoot IT issues. In short, you ll be entering food and drinks menus into our software, installing them onto our EPOS systems and installing them on site, so a driver s license is needed. A good customer service attitude is essential as customers may ring up / email in support queries, such as the EPOS system isn t working, and you would be responsible to troubleshoot the issue and diagnose and fix the issue. We take pride in our support, so we are looking for someone that takes pride in their work and are willing to go above and beyond for our customers. We re a fun, welcoming company who ll supply you with all the training you need to be able to give you the confidence in your responsibilities. This is an office-based role located in Kidderminster. We have a rotor for out-of-offices support, until 9pm, however calls after five or the weekend are very rare and normally it s a message to let our customers know we will look at it in core hours Monday Friday 9-5. About myAPPetite We are a fun, fast-growing business based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, that offers customers (predominantly within the hospitality industry) a complete ordering solution. This can range from EPOS systems to their own branded app and / or website for their customers to order from, and Social Media Management among other things. We re a relatively small business but there are two other Support Engineer s who you ll work alongside and occasionally on group projects. Perfect candidate A driving licence Loves technology Skilled in computer hardware. Skilled in EPOS hardware would be advantageous Experience in using different types of software Comfortable with troubleshooting technical issues A thirst for knowledge, always wanting to learn The ability to absorb information and the put that knowledge into action A good customer service attitude is essential willing to go above and beyond to get the customer up and running A positive attitude Determination to get the job done Good time-keeping skills Takes pride in their work Hours 5 days a week. 9am 5pm (open to flexible working) Salary Initially 20k per year + bonuses Our Perks We ve invested into creating an enjoyable and rewarding culture.
