We are proud to say we are currently recruiting for several Senior Support Workers to join an established provider of housing for vulnerable young people in Birmingham. By applying today, you have an opportunity to join a team as a Senior Support Worker that supports some of the most vulnerable people in our community to a brighter future. Overview: West Midlands, Birmingham Permanent contract Up to £21k per annum + £70 for sleep in Full time, working shifts on a rota Monday to Sunday, double shifts + sleep in shifts 28 days holiday The main duties of the Senior Support Worker include: Provide contact, advice and guidance to vulnerable young people in a long term accommodation setting Support new and existing service users to attend social activities, school, and to live as independently as possible Promote positive behaviour to help guide them into a brighter future Maintain and update records and reports Provide 1:1 support and supervise a team of support workers Make sure the rules and regulations are followed by the team The successful Senior Support Worker will have: Knowledge of supervising support workers in a similar setting, support and guidance to young vulnerable people Has great IT and communication skills Previous experience supporting vulnerable young people in a residential setting NVQ Level 3 and 4 in Health and Social care in children or Children and Young people Driving licence Please note that we do have a referral scheme that offers you up to £250.00 in vouchers for each successful referral Community Partnership Personnel are a specialist consultancy that provide temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to housing professionals across the Midlands
