We are currently working with a leading European manufacturer based in Aylesford. Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This role has flexibility to allow 1 day per week to be worked from home. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and external sales team, the Sales & Marketing Assistant will support in the delivery of the annual sales and marketing plan. The successful candidate will be assisting with day-to-day duties from both a Sales and Marketing perspective with a 50/50 split: Sales responsibilities: Support the Business Development Managers in filling their weekly call plan by developing a prospect list for each territory. Assist with sourcing new business meetings for sales team through proactive lead generation, supported by marketing activity. Maintain regular contact with existing customer database to support BDMs. Build and grow a project database with potential project pipeline. Monitor, respond and follow-up all inbound enquiries via company website, social media, email,events, etc. Research project opportunities and action them accordingly. Co-ordination of training academy. Marketing responsibilities: Ongoing creation of digital content for Social Media (photography, video, infographics, etc). Stock management for brochures, giveaways and arrange reprints as required. Creation of product brochures/flyers to support the Business Development team, including collating relevant content and coordinating design and print with external partners. Assisting with creating an annual catalogue, including managing update requirements throughout the year. Liaising with external agencies, when required, to assist in creation of digital campaigns and website updates. General product and content updates on website, managed via bespoke CMS. Database management and housekeeping for customer lists for targeted marketing. Providing setup support and attending trade exhibitions as and when required. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: Previous experience in a marketing/sales role, ideally B2B Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Strong organisational and time-management abilities Team player Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience with HubSpot or Mailchimp would be advantageous but not essential This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that can offer ongoing career development and training.
