Operations Manager - Passive Fire Protection - Fire Doors South West £>70,000 + Package My client is a main contractor operating within the passive fire protection market, delivering fire door installation and fire compartmentation projects ranging from £1k to £2m. We are looking for a qualified Senior Manager with solid experience of running a regional workforce, delivering Passive Fire projects for both private & public sector clients. You will be an effective manager with the ability to develop a highly talented and motivated team, whilst building strong relationships with internal business functions, stakeholders, customers, consultants and the wider supply chain. You will take ownership of all activity within the Business Unit, ensuring enquiry to invoice and certification process is being delivered, growing the Business Unit through your own supported Business Unit Growth Plan. You will qualify enquiries, ensuring they are being dealt with in a timely, professional manner and priced within margin guidelines, ensure new contracts are correctly mobilised and planned in terms of scope, priced budgets and responsibilities. Operations Manager Responsibilities: Recruit and guide management teams delivering contracts ensuring deliver teams and contractors achieve high quality, value for money service. Ensure delivery teams are compliant and works are delivered on time, within budget and meet agreed key performance indicator targets. Ensure the delivery team effectively delivers work through a comprehensive quality assurance system including contract administration and proactive budget monitoring Business technical lead including consulting with business development and bids teams, client dialogue and bid presentations Talent retention & development through direciton & advocacy of staff engagement programmesOperations Manager Experience Experience in delivering Fire Door contracts either as a single workstream or part of a larger project. Experience in working at a strategic level, developing and implementing continuous improvement Experience of growing a business/region Ability to set and measure targets Strong IT skills Strong management skills and the ability to motivate a team at all levels Ability to be innovative and creative to resolve complex issuesOperations Manager Salary & Benefits You will be working for a modern, forward-thinking business; that believe the strengths, skills and personalities of their people are the key to the group's success.
