We are working with a large healthcare organisation who is looking to appoint an Occupational Health and Wellbeing Lead Nurse on a permanent basis. The package is extremely competitive ranging from £41,695 - £47,672 per annum. The role will require cross site working but hybrid working can be considered. Candidates must have experience at this level where they have previously worked at a senior level as this is essential and have an Occupational Health Qualification or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. Key responsibilities will include: To provide impartial, confidential, and expert Occupational Health and Wellbeing service to the employees the Trust and external clients; Provide professional leadership to Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisors; To assist the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Manager in leading and advancing clinical practice in line with DoH guidelines and legislation; To maintain continuing professional development and contribute to the development of the Occupational Health service through research-based practice and audit. The ideal candidate will have: Registration with NMC; Occupational Health qualification; Management and/or Leadership experience; Confidence, assertiveness, tact, diplomacy and empathy for dealing with staff and clients; Demonstrates a clear understanding of professional accountability in the scope of professional practice; Evidence of up-to-date knowledge base of professional and specialist issues.
