The Head of Resourcing is accountable for leading the resourcing department and the business at large in all of its resourcing functions, inclusive of team leadership, sourcing strategy development and execution, forecasting and reporting, programme design and implementation, process adherence and governance, and resourcing goal development and achievement.

This is a fixed term contract which will initially run for 6 months.

Key tasks will include:
  • Leadership: Focus on driving accountability, shaping the strategies, supporting company and functional growth and development, and team alignments across GEOAmey's estate.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with the senior recruiting management and Human Resources senior team to deliver internal and external recruitment and selection to provide a pipeline of talent, supporting the Head of Learning and Development to drive the succession and career path/career planning agenda.
  • Strategy/Tactics: Design and implementation of business-wide resourcing processes, applicant tracking systems, management reporting, and vendor management. The Head of Resourcing develops innovative sourcing strategies and procedures and ensures that there is a consistent and positive candidate experience, which increases the prospects of acquisition and retention of talent for the business.
  • Analytics: Own the analytical deliverables that link our financial and commercial assumptions and commitments with on-going reporting after tracking the results, impacts, and cost-effectiveness of the current resourcing strategies.
  • Knowledge: Provide direction and consultation to the business on sector and business intelligence, emerging trends and best practices that impact and influence acquisition and attraction within key talent segments.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally L5 Institute of Recruitment Professionals, CIPD or equivalent
  • Significant and demonstrable expertise in leading a high-performing resourcing team for a business, resulting in the acquisition and retention of top talents in the market.
  • Excellent communication skills will be critical in facilitating smooth communications with potential hires and talents in the market, being able to convince high-quality candidates and hiring them into the business.
  • Competent user of ATS systems, MS office
  • Strong technical acumen and a data-driven approach to recruitment strategy formulation and decision-making.
  • Strategic and creative decision maker
  • Self-motivated working under minimal supervision
