Partners with senior leadership for an assigned geography or business group to support business growth and performance through delivery of strategic financial insights, planning and analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverages sound knowledge of business objectives to lead the successful delivery of financial insights, planning and analysis to enable business performance.
Develops trust with senior leadership, operations, and producers. May be asked to consult on routine financial business decisions.
Directs risk-adjusted financial analysis of strategic growth initiatives or recruiting/retention opportunities. Understands and communicates financial impact of investments for others to make informed decisions.
Provides oversight of revenue, expense, and other financial partnership activities. Serves as liaison between management, producers, and financial operations centers of excellence.
Responsible for execution of accounting and finance processes including budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, data integrity and other related projects.
Directs special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field. Requires a minimum of eight years related experience to include at least three years in a lead or supervisory capacity. Public accounting experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to effectively interact with management, employees, auditors, etc. and respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects. Fosters an environment of team-building and an open door policy.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Reviews complex financial/business analysis and reports prepared by subordinates. Ability to analyze the most complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and oversees department budget.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired (particularly HFM Consolidation, PeopleSoft Financials and Cognos Planning). Knowledge of real estate service industry and terminology is helpful. Ability to plan and manage multiple projects and work streams. Strong work ethic and adaptable.
