Well respected company based near Truro, Cornwall are looking to recruit an experienced Document Controller/Stock Controller to work on an 11 month fixed term contract. Role: Support the Project Manager and Site Manager in all areas of project delivery to include: • Maintain the site inventory. • Assist in ordering products from supplier as per schedule. • Receive, check and store deliveries. • Maintain order and cleanliness in storeroom. • Take responsibility for store contents. • Issue inventory as per installation schedule. • Liaise with installers. • Record and audit inventory. • Keep the site clean and tidy. • Adhere to construction phase plans, including risk assessments and health and safety policies. Experience: Previous experience in stock management or a related field is desirable. Must be computer literate. • Familiarity with inventory management systems. • Experience dealing with trades (Contractors and operatives). • CSCS Card. • Clean UK Driving Licence. • Access to own vehicle (Current HMRC mileage rate will be paid if used in performance of your duties). • Manual handling Responsibilities: Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers. • To maintain stock inventory levels, ordering, issuing and auditing. • Issuing components and materials to the installer s contractors as specified by the installation schedule in a timely manner to meet installation schedules. • Goods inwards documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock. • Ensure all received stock is undamaged and that everything ordered is present and accounted for. • Ensuring the Project Manager and Site Manager are informed of low stock and other shortages which may require re-ordering. • Ensure all products are suitably packaged and that delivery service used is adequate to meet customer requirements. • With the Site Manager, maintain a safe working environment within the Stores areas and all current Health and Safety legislation is observed. Including basic house-keeping . • Delivery and collection of product and material as required. • Performing any other duties that may be deemed necessary to ensure the effective running of the Department and Company. • Deliver a quality service in accordance with standards & contractual KPI s
