We are looking for a self-motivated, experienced DIRECTOR, SOLUTION MARKETING to join our growing team and contribute as the leader of the Sales & Marketing solution team. Anaplans North America offices are located in San Francisco, New York, and Minneapolis, and remote work is available across the country.

As a Solution Marketing Director, you'll be working closely with the solution and product management, solution strategy, competitive intelligence, solution marketing and field-facing functions, and you will lead and drive creation and communication of impactful content highlighting Anaplans platform advantage in sales and marketing and supporting new solution launches. You will lead a team of 3-5 talented individuals to create compelling field-facing content, copy, and assets to drive Anaplans commercial organization forward, and will be directly responsible for interfacing with our GTM organization. This is not a traditional marketing/marcom role.

What youll be doing:
  • Drive solution product marketing and sales enablement plans to support revenue objectives of growing existing ACV and acquiring new customers in the supply chain domain
  • Develop messaging and positioning, build and deliver sales tools across the sales cycle, including presentations, white papers, data sheets, and other sales tools and sales content, to enable sales teams to communicate the value of Anaplan platform effectively
  • Analyze customer buying signals (e.g. RFIs, RFPs, feedback from Field) and identify patterns, to craft additional buyer enablement content
  • Research buyer personas and market trends, via both primary and secondary research to identify potential market opportunities and messages for Anaplans SPM line of business
  • Manage sales play launches by building messaging in collaboration with Product and GTM functions, craft marketing plans, drive and support partner enablement in collaboration with partner marketing
  • Discover and document complex buying/selling processes involving multiple decision-makers for software and solution purchases and translate that to successful GTM strategies
  • Support the broader team to evangelize our solutions at conferences, tradeshows, to analysts and customers
  • Lead Analyst presentations with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and other top tier software market analysts and collaborate to develop analyst and influencer strategy
More about you:
  • 10+ years related B2B product marketing experience, ideally in in one or more of the following areas: enterprise business applications, management consulting, cloud platforms, analytics, planning technology, CRM, sales tech, marketing tech
  • Demonstrated first-line people leadership experience in product marketing, product management, solution consulting, or content marketing
  • Demonstrated knowledge and domain expertise in the Sales & Marketing domain. CRM vendor landscape knowledge is valuable, but the focus will be on domain knowledge in RevOps, Sales Tech and non-CRM tools
  • Demonstrated history in story telling, sales enablement, selling to customers/partners, holding conversations with both line of business executives and technical decision makers
  • Content creation and strategic messaging skills, including a showcase of work delivered elsewhere
  • Demonstrated analyst (AR) domain understanding
  • Proven capability to influence senior executives and purchasing stakeholders with messaging and content
  • Demonstrable GTM / launch leadership experience
  • High energy, creativity and can-do attitude, agility, ability to manage multiple priorities and bias-for-action with exemplary results
  • Outstanding analysis and communication skills in writing and content development
