I have an exciting opportunity available for a registered manager to join an established residential service providing care and support for older adults with dementia. You will become a pivotal part of an organisation that has a handful of homes catering for older adults. You will manage a 24 plus bedded service on the outskirts of Birmingham City centre. Your role will involve all elements of care and support planning, staff recruitment, training and supervisions and liaising with external agencies. You will be driven, motivated and committed to delivering high quality care and support, promoting choice and independence and ensuring quality and compliance. In the absence of the registered manager, you will take the lead in running the service. To be considered for the role of deputy manager, you will be able to demonstrate a proven background within the elderly care sector as a senior, team leader, unit manager or deputy manager. You will hold the level 3 in leadership and management and be flexible to cover "on call" as required. In return for your extensive knowledge and experience, you will be rewarded with a salary up to £27000.
