Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) at PayTrace is responsible for driving PayTraces sales growth by maximizing opportunities with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). This is accomplished by identifying, recruiting, consulting, developing, and closing opportunities with strategic ISV Partners. The BDR reports to the ISV Partnerships Manager and is a member of the Business Development Team.

What you'll do:
  • Engage, recruit, and onboard ISVs in the PayTrace B2B ecosystem.
  • Take full ownership of a highly consultative sales process to recruit and develop new ISV partners via self-generated leads by utilizing cold calling, professional networking, industry events, personal connections, and resources within the candidates network.
  • Manage ISV partner inquiries generated by company advertising campaigns, media events, attendance at industry conferences, and leads generated by API sandbox requests.
  • Successfully lead negotiations and related contract terms (and related exhibits) that properly protect PayTraces business interest while also addressing partner needs to create a mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Manage ISV integration process and adoption of PayTrace products and services.
  • Generate, manage and forecast an accurate sales pipeline
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to find strategic ways to win business

What we need from you:
  • A minimum of three (3) years sales experience in the integrated payments industry, SaaS or tech related fields
  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Experience in recruiting ISV Partnerships or Tech Partnerships
  • A strong understanding and command of consultative sales process
  • Track record of growing revenue.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A growth mindset
  • Previous experience successfully managing to a revenue quota.
  • Strong technical aptitude; knowledge of B2B payments ecosystems
  • Demonstrated experience in executive selling at the CEO, CFO, CIO and CXO level
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator and strong presentation skills
  • Willing to travel domestically
