What you ll be doing: You will join the team that is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-intensive systems and processing pipelines, operating on large volume datasets. Key tasks include: Develop, test, and support data-intensive software products and processing pipelines. Play an integral role in the ongoing design and improvement of large-scale data processing systems. Work closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to use data more effectively, and to launch new models into production. Work with the Delivery team to provide second and third line support to our customers Collaborate with other technical teams to support the efficient analysis of data at scale Required Skills: We recognise that demonstrable skills in all these technologies is not easy to find. Don t let that stop you from applying! We can work in partnership to identify your strengths and provide you with the training necessary to fill any gaps. Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Python. Experience implementing and supporting data-intensive systems and data processing pipelines. Working knowledge of Linux as a development/deployment environment. Experience with PySpark, Hadoop or other Big Data technologies. Strong communication skills. Self-starter, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
